This Easter season, something truly special happened in our home.
As we nestled in to read The Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones, flipping to pages 306–313 to reflect on the resurrection story, I watched something incredible unfold. My children—eyes wide, hearts open—sat captivated. The story of Jesus’ love, sacrifice, and victory over death wasn’t just words on a page. It came alive.

The illustrations by Jago, the thoughtful narration, and the way it connects every story in Scripture back to Jesus—every detail drew us in. We weren’t just reading about the Resurrection; we were feeling it. Feeling the sorrow at the cross. The wonder at the empty tomb. The joy when the angel said, “He’s alive again!”
But the journey didn’t stop there.
We also explored My Little Library of God’s Great Love, a set of four board books—Known, Loved, Found, and Near. Each one is based on Scripture and perfect for little hands. These beautifully illustrated books help children understand that God is always with them, knows them deeply, and loves them unconditionally.
They’ve become part of our bedtime routine, our quiet-time reflections, and even our Easter basket gifts. These books speak gently but powerfully, instilling truth in young hearts without overwhelming them.

As a parent, there is no greater joy than watching your child grasp just how deeply they are loved by God.
This Easter, we didn’t just decorate eggs or hunt for candy—we hunted for hope. And we found it in the pages of these books.
I’m so grateful to @zonderkidz and @sallylloydjones for helping us create these moments that will echo in our hearts long after the Easter season fades.
If you’re looking for a meaningful gift this year—something more than chocolate bunnies and stuffed animals—consider these books. They’re not just stories. They’re seeds of faith.
